The Dictation Property Configuration Wizard is for editing the dictation properties configuration file (.xml file).

With this tool you can do the following:

Change the label (the displayed property name) of any dictation property. The SpeechMike Air now has a usage time of 10 hours.

IMPROVED BATTERY CHARGING - compared to previous firmware versions the batteries are now immediately recharged when inserting the SPEECHMIKE AIR into the AIRPORT cradle.

NEW RECHARGING WARNING TONE - To ensure battery recharging, a new recharging warning tone can be heard when inserting the SpeechMike Air into the AIRPORT cradle. This signals that the SpeechMike Air has been completely docked and prevents the unit accidentally not being recharged if incorrectly or not fully inserted into the AIRPORT cradle.

FAKE HALF DUPLEX MODE - To suppress distortions ( for example those caused by system notifications) the playback path is muted during recording.

IMPROVED DRAGON NATURALLYSPEAKING SUPPORT - Dragon NaturallySpeaking users sometimes reported a delayed output of recognized text when used in conjunction with a SpeechMike Air.
This could occur during the very first recording after Dragon was started and if frequent RECORD/STOP actions were carried out. This has been solved by improvements in the switch click suppression of the SpeechMike Air.

PREVENTION OF SPURIOUS OUT OF RANGE WARNINGS - Some programs (especially remote desktop software) could cause the SpeechMike Air to emit an out-of-range warning even when the SpeechMike Air was within range of the AirBridge. Firmware 1.18 now provides a much more robust wireless connection compared to previous firmware versions.

A MORE POSTIVE BUTTON EVENT RESPONSE - Under rare circumstances no or too many button events might be sent to the PC.
Firmware 1.18 ensures that all button events coming from the SpeechMike Air are correctly transferred to the PC.
